Our first stop is a true gem of wooden architecture – the Gothic Church in Dębno, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This place will enchant you with its simplicity and unique atmosphere. Inside, you'll find some of Poland's oldest and best-preserved frescoes, dating back to the 15th century.
Next, we'll visit the monumental "Dunajec" Castle, perched on a hill overlooking Lake Czorsztyn. Our exploration begins with a short boat cruise, offering stunning views of the castle and the surrounding mountains, one of Europe's most beautiful landscapes. The 14th-century Niedzica Castle is located on a steep rock at 566 meters above sea level. A major attraction of the castle is its viewing terraces, offering breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding mountains, the lake, and the ruins of Czorsztyn Castle on the opposite shore.
In the afternoon we will continue our trip to take part in rafting expedition on the Dunajec River, one of the most beautiful river gorges, where the mountain river carves through the Pieniny peaks, creating an unforgettable sensation of gliding through the heart of the mountains. The tradition of wooden raft rides dates back nearly 200 years, and experienced raftsmen, dressed in traditional regional attire, still steer the rafts today using long wooden poles. Along the way, you'll see the Pieniny's most stunning peaks, which rise up to 300 meters high.
After a day full of adventures, we'll cap it off with an evening bonfire – the perfect way to end our journey. In the glow of crackling flames, we'll roast sausages and enjoy traditional
Zakopane-style Oscypek cheese.
